Drive is a location-based service. To match you with nearby drivers, quote accurate fares, and place your pickup on the live map, we need permission to read your device's location while you use the app.
What we access
- Foreground GPS when the app is open: to center the map, find nearby drivers, and share your live pickup with your matched driver during an active ride.
- Trip route: pickup, drop-off, and (during an active ride) the live path, retained with the ride record for safety, receipts, and dispute resolution.
What we don't do
- We do not track your location when you are not signed in or when the app is closed.
- We do not sell your location to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not share your live location with other passengers.
Your control
You can revoke this consent at any time from your device settings or Account. Without location access, ride requests cannot be matched and your pickup will not appear on the live map.
Retention
Live location points are kept only for the duration of an active ride. The final route trail is retained with the completed ride record (see Privacy Policy).
