This agreement is between you (Driver) and Drive.
1. Independent contractor
You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You choose when to be online and which rides to accept.
2. Requirements
- Valid driver's license, personal auto insurance meeting local minimums, and any commercial/rideshare endorsement required by your jurisdiction.
- Vehicle no more than 15 model years old, 4 doors, in safe operating condition.
- Successful background and driving-record check.
3. Background check consent
By submitting your application you authorize Drive and its consumer-reporting partner to obtain background reports including identity, criminal history, and motor vehicle records, and to re-run them periodically.
4. Fair pay
You receive 85% of every completed fare. Weekly payouts to your linked account.
5. Conduct
Adhere to the Safety Policy. Violations may result in deactivation without notice.
6. Insurance
Drive provides supplemental commercial coverage while a passenger is in your vehicle, on top of your personal policy. Coverage details are in the Driver Handbook.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Outstanding earnings will be paid on the next scheduled payout.
